Gigabyte X99 UD5 Hell

Hi, my X99 UD5 motherboard keeps post looping, sometimes staying on only for a few seconds, dispalying error code db - flash update is failed. Given that I've not flashed the bios in well over a month, and its been working happily since then, has anyone got any ideas why it's started to refuse to post?

Hi,

try powering offf, pulling the battery out and leaving it for a bit, then refitting and powering on again.

You also have a clearCMOS button the board and a BIOS switch button to select the backup.

you should be able to boot from backup bios switch position,then when in bios flick bios switch if you have one back to the main bios position and reflash it through qflash to recover it

Thanks for the replies, I've done what you've suggested and managed to get it back working again, I should have known to try switching the bios.
