Hi All,
I am trying to troubleshoot my Gigabyte X99M-Gaming 5, just thought I'd post on here before before I RMA it.
Its been running for about 20 months without any issues and no hardware changes.
Last night when I switched it on I got no boot. I checked inside and the standby LED was off.
I cycled the wall power then the standby LED will light up for a split second and go off.
I have tried the normal steps of pulling all hardware and alternate BIOS. I have re-built the machine outside the case and tried an alternate PSU. Having done all these it still displays the same behavior. Powering the board with no hardware its the same.
I have tested my PSU on another machine and its fine.
Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a X99 so I can't test the CPU or RAM.
Time to RMA the board?
