Hey,

The Gigabyte Z68X-UD4 is my next motherboard in a Corsair 650D.

I don't want to run the front panel USB3.0 through the case, out the back and into the motherboard.

On the Gigabyte website it says:

"Up to 4 USB 3.0/2.0 ports (2 on the back panel, 2 via the USB bracket connected to the internal USB header)"

From: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3849#sp

Does this mean it comes with an adapter so I can plug the front USB cables into the motherboard?

If not can some one suggest a place to get an adapter?

Thanks,

Evoss

It should come with a breakout expansion slot for the usb3 to put on the rear. You can either plug the front cables directly into the header on the mb or if your case doesn't come with them you can plug the usb3 cables from the front panel into the adaptor and hide it in your case somewhere.

Alright cheers, I think I'll have a look for an adapter. Are Gigabyte 3.0 internal headers 20 pin?

Thanks

the bracket should plug into the mobo, route it through the back and then connect the usb cables from the front panel to it :)
