Setting up a PC for a friend who just splashed out 500 quid for a new system pretty much, mobo is Z77-D3H, flashed bios to F12 and CPU is an i5 3570K

System refuses to post when all 4 sticks of ram are installed (Corsair Vengeance low profile 4x4GB)

Removed 2 sticks so only channel 1+3 were in use, system posts. Tried the sticks from channel 2+4 in channel 1+3, system posts.

All 4 in, system wont post.

Anyone have any suggestions? Duff mobo maybe!?

With just two sticks in, try setting the timings/voltage manually, or set the XMP, then fit the other two RAM sticks.

After this doesnt work RMA the board then.

Shouldnt need to fiddle with anything, had 2 identical machines other than PSU being only difference (one a 550 watt Corsair, the other a 620watt)

Other machine worked fine with all 4 sticks in, so must be a mobo issue to RMA it i guess.
