Am supposed to be on Virgin Media 120/12 BB plan, but over the last few days have noticed that im only getting a download speed of approx 72Mb/s and then noticed its been since ive had my new PC system. Is there a way that my new Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H mobo is limiting my internet speed?

It uses the Intel NIC's so should be spot on, I've read that these are like the best things ever.

Have you tried "CFOS Speed Internet Accelerator Software" or what ever it is?

No i havent used any software, to be fair my old Gigabyte EX58-UD5 mobo used to give me full speed all the time (Virgin Media permitting) without any software needed, so i would have thought this new mobo should be able to do it fine!!?

The only other thing i can think of is my ASUS RT-N56U router, im using the Google CFW, version 3.4.3.6-064 Micro, but the previous version never limited my speed?

Oh right. Yeah i have tried both and give the same results. The upload speed is fine just the download speed, i have phoned Virgin Media, and the automated system has done a check on my BB and cant find a problem

It appear it was my ASUS CFW that was causing the issue. Have just reflash and now its all working correctly :)
