Gigabyte Z97M-D3H fails to post?

Hey guys

I've been trying to get my new build going but have hit an issue
I got windows installed and ran all the updates, installed AV and office etc rebooted PC and its now stuck on "press f2 or del to enter setup"

If you press f2 is says entering setup but doesn't.
I've tried the dual BIOS thing (power button for 5 seconds etc) but no joy. Same for clearing the CMOS.
Ideas?
 
howmany drives you have? pop in the bios and make sure you set the os drive as first boot device or at the top of the boot list/save/exit
 
Ok try pressing front panel power button and as soon as you hear the fans spin turn off as fast as possible at the rear psu switch

Repeat that three or four times then let pc powerup normally,if successful you'll see a msg saying recovering main BIOS from backup,let it do its thing then see if it boots
 
I ended up taking everything off the motherboard, and the battery then coming back to it an hour later (coffee break) and putting it back together and it now works!
result!
