Hi i have recently bought a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD6 and read about the quick boost feature and was wondering if the max boost is stable on a Intel Core i5 760 with a aftermarket cooler 24/7.

Has anyone had any experience with this application and if its okay to use 24/7.

Cheers, Malthus

Quick boost features are a bit rough and ready and probably apply far more voltage and hence heat generation than a fine tuned manual overclock. But give it a whirl and let us know how you get on! :)

Gigabyte quick boost in easytune are the worse overheating overclock. Do not use it. Use your own manual setting in the bios instead. Gigabyte are too lazy as they just put all on auto on all setting.
