Gigaworks S-750 7.1

Already got a Gigaworks S-750 7.1 set for my PC room. Is there any way of hooking my 360 into this?

The penny drops. As the Gigaworks doesn't have a digital in, I can't connect the 360 directly to them. I'll have to use the TOSlink digital out from the 360 into a soundcard on the PC, and the PC will already be wired up to the speakers. Too bad I'll have to have the PC on whenever I want to play the 360. Will need to find a card that has a digital link in first - X-fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional is one...

I have Gigaworks too. Does your method above give you true surround sound?

Have yet to try it. The reason for the original post was asking whether it could be done.

Might need to do a bit more digging to see if it'll actually work. Don't want to shell out £100+ on a soundcard if it doesn't...

You can buy a creative decoder device, can't remember what they're called now I used to have one for my S750 setup a while back.

There about £120 on the bay which is expensive for what there are, seems Creative don’t make them anymore.
