Ginger Beer

Now theres a manly drink.

Ginger beer is great in so many ways. Its sweet, yet not sickly, spicy and warming. My personal favourite is actually a low market brand which you will find in tescos, Old Jamaican Ginger Beer. Its cheap and yum city.

Strange as I always hated it as a kid!

Anyone else been taken by it recently?

Old Jamaican Ginger Beer is cheap, 50p in tesco for a bottle, no excuse

Ginger ale is vile compared to beer, its just not as spicy. Its the 'diet coke' of ginger beer.

I have to say I always associated Ginger Beer with The Famous Five. Couldn't stand the drink back then when my dad read the books to me when I was a nipper. Now I know better
