Ginsters Pasty...

I think generally you have around 3 days on chilled products after the sell by date, if it smells and looks ok it will be fine!

For me the cheese and onion ones are the best but to be honest pasties down south at Newquay and Cornwall are the best! Although locally Greggs and Birds are pretty tasty!

Syphs missus.

Ginsters are disgusting, oily, greasy pastry with a filling of stodgey goo.
Give me a Ivor Dewdney over that carp any day!

Mmmmmm. My wife makes a brilliant Chicken, Bacon, Leek and Cheese Pasty. On average, the pasty is approximately 45cm long and about 25cm wide. Giant!

Best befores are always pretty cautious.

Most things that I buy that have a best before of over around two weeks from when you buy them I would eat 2/3 days after without any worry.

The only things I am a little cautious of are things with generally very short best befores, things like eggs and fresh chicken.

If its a Ginsters I would push it for a week over date, they are just too nice ;)

Ginsters are foul! I had a spicey chicken one and I coudlnt eat it. Gregs cheese and onion are my favorite. Theres also some proper homemade style ones delviered each morning to the local shop which are really nice. They do a chicken curry one and its awesome, proper curry inside.

Ive never thought about making my own before, could be rather good.

Ginsters are terrible, can't believe their pasties are so popular, those that like them can't have had a real cornish pasty.
