lol i tried them but £21 + postage seems a little high for what they are. if the editor of ps3m dosent come though then i guess ima have to bite the bullet and pay up... save me your triggers just incase as there a fiver cheaper than yabe...
 
I don't think I'd even pay £10 for them. They are literally a bit of plastic! I'm sure once they go into mass production, they'll about a fiver.
 
lol was watching that auction, got a dual shock 3 on the way but if the triggers on that are still crap then will have to get me a pair of real triggers.

What mag and issue were they given away with?

Triggers are the same on the DS3. I think it was issue 98(March) of PSM3.
 
They make the controller feel so much bigger. I played with the triggers for about an hour then tried it without them.. Was just wrong using a controller without the triggers.
 
would love some triggers allso i cant use the standard triggers at all my fingers slip off them. end up changing the controlls if the triggers are used as default.
 
Just got inoshishis ones in the post (for free - cheers again dude), personally, i love em. However my housemate who also owns a PS3 hated them, each to their own.

If you suffer from sweaty hands like myself, these are a must.

Glad you like em mate, better rubbing against your sweaty hands than sitting on my dusty shelf ;)
 
After more play testing with these triggers, I can safely say, I don't know how anyone can find the old triggers playable.

Just got a reply for an email I sent to Gioteck.

Thanks for your email regarding the availability of our PS3 Real Triggers.

Our PS3 Real Triggers are currently in production with our manufacturer and
unfortunately we do not have any sets directly or freely available for sale
or distribution to our customers at this time.

We hope to have our PS3 Real Triggers available in the US and UK very
shortly, at a recommended retail price of $4.99 (USD) and £3.49 Per Set. We
are also working on a newsflash bulletin for all of our customers who wish
to purchase our PS3 Real Triggers. The newsflash will contain up to date
information on availability and links to retailer websites who are stocking
our PS3 Real Triggers.

At the moment there are no plans to sell our PS3 Real Triggers via the
Gioteck website. However, we anticipate that many of the retailers who sell
our products will also have our PS3 Real Triggers available to purchase
through their own online stores.

We will be placing the newsflash bulletin on to the Gioteck website shortly
and will be posting the link to all of our customers who have expressed
interest in obtaining the PS3 Real Triggers. Our website will also include
the latest updates to our current PS3 range and our 2008 new product
line-up.
