Gioteck EX-01 Bluetooth Headset PS3

Hey lads, just bought myself a headset for the PS3, but there's a problem, I have followed the instructions provided to go into accessories and bluetooth devices, and I am trying to scan for the headset with no luck, the blue lights are flashing so I have no idea why. I have plugged the headset in with the provided USB cable but still no luck, all I am getting is some random cars passing by on the streets and mobile phones.

Please help on how to solve this issue, cheers!

I had two of these and sent them both back. Sound quality was absolutely dreadful, with an overwhelming background hiss all the time.

Sorry it doesn't help with your problem, but afterwards I found that there were a lot of people who had the same problems as me. Yes, they're fine for some people, but you seem to have to roll the dice to get a good one.

Spend the extra and buy a better quality one.

yeah i8 hate the same problem with mine, the sound is absolutely dreadful was using for the time being until my dog chewed it up its it;s not the comfyest of headsets like

i just got this of ebay VX Comms - Freedom Bluetooth Headset (PS3) and works a treat!

Hold the power button down till the LED turns green, set the PS3 to scan for the device and pair with code: 0000. Switch off by holding the power button in till the LED turns green then it will power down.
