Gipsy Danger, a Phenom II x6 1090t Powered Rendering machine being built to be as quite and strong as possible in a budget to speed up productivity by having another machine render thus freeing up my main rig for modeling.

The plan is once it is all running is to strike a balance between performance and heat to keep it silent for those long weeks of rendering animations.

Programs it will be running, 3DS Max, Marmoset Toolbag, Vray, Keyshot and Sony Vegas.

This shall be built as cheaply and silently as possible apart from when it comes to the case and cooling :).

Ok here's the card, a GTX 260 Exo by POV!
In the process of fixing it or using an aftermarket cooler.

If i fail to get it to work i will opt for a second hand quadro or firepro most likely.

The mobo and cpu have arrived, for now until the case arrives i will be using the stock cooler as i have no idea if the evo 612 i have set aside will fit.

Phenom ii x6 1090t.

On Another note, a few days ago i pre ordered a Bitfenix Colossus m and some nice silent fans.

Top fans will be 2x 120mm, rear 1x 140mm silent, bottom 1x 230mm silent.

Trying to source a Promilatech MK-13 vga cooler for the GTX 260, Stripped down my old laptop for a HDD and got the proposed cpu cooler (hyper 612) ready and waiting.

Hoping to see the case ship sometimes this week or next.

Got everything installed into the case, just need to buy a new heatsink, fan controller and gpu!.

Pics to follow soon!

Building in the Colossus M was a joy, Really nice airflow for how i have it set up and good cable management compared to somethings.

And here it is set up on my desk alongside Striker Eureka and my Asus.

I remove the top filter when in use as it blocks far too much airflow, about the only thing i dislike about the case, needs to be a bigger mesh.

Will post internal pics once the final few pieces arrive and are fitted.

Case modding to come later on when i'm actually brave enough to take paint to a brand new case, for now going to settle with a Gipsy Danger Decal.
