That's impossible because nirsoft doesn't give the security key :confused:

Worked for me... Gave me all my stored keys WPA, WPA2 and WEP in hex and ascii

That's it's primary purpose, to recover wireless keys.

Well it's in hex format so how do I get it to ascii to put in the security key box for the manual wireless setup?

I hope he realises the trouble that you and a lot of others are going to just because he cant be bothered to spend a minute or two setting it up himself.

I'd suggest you have a prob;lem elsewhere, I've never had problems with windows 7

it's much easier than Vista in so many levels

Nope he wouldn't care either. I don't think it can be done because I can't get the key from the hex code. Her laptop is so slow and needs formatting real bad.
