Girlfriend wants a new phone...

...and I've not been interested in mobiles for AGES, so don't know what's good and what's not.

Primarily, it needs to be a phone, but she'd like to take piccies & video too. It must have an intuitive menu system.

I think the Motorola SLVR looks pretty smart, but have no idea if it's any good.

It will be a new pay monthly contract with Vodafone if it makes any difference.

Can anyone make any suggestions or recommendations?

well, i have a theory lol There are 3 types of phones:

girly phones - small and cute. normally easy to use
posers phones - could actually be small and cute also, but normally the expensive stuff that doesnt do much, like the 8800 for instance, or the cheap stuff that doesnt do much but wants to be expensive like the motorola razr

and

MAN phones. Ugly, not always the easiest to use, but does the most and normally does it best. Helps if you can play lots of games on them as well.

i'd say the 6230i is a unisexual phone tbh lol. Now the 6630....THAT'S a man phone. ugly as sin but plays doom (and connon fodder :cool:

on the W810i what video options does it have, like on 02 site it says D600-yes -play, record stream

on the 810i it just says 'yes'

I've your looking for a new contract on Vodafone and want to take decent pictures and good video, the Nokia 6280 is where it is at right now. It shoots by far the best video of any mobile phone currently on the market simply because it does so at VGA resolution. And with it being a Nokia, the menu system is easy to use.

l6 slvr i had one, there absolute pap, there both boys and girls who know nothing about good phones

although the one in pink is especially good for female blondes

she will love you more if you get her a d600, but there pricey :eek:

I've got a D500 and I'm not a girl either !

Had a look at the D800 yestersay and it's hideous. Whilst it might be thin, it seems to have spread out in every other direction.
