Girlfriends 21st. Recommendations?

Not everything fancy and expensive is memorable. One valentines day i promised my GF a slap up meal.. then made her tuna and cheese on toast. Man she was ****ed! :D but she never forgot it! :D

Budapest, Tuscany... them places arent expensive to get to but are meant to be very nice.

Im taking my wife to Wroclaw in Poland next weekend, 3 nights in a 5 star hotel, flying with Ryanair, total cost £260, pretty amazing really.

The only downside is that I have absolutely no idea what to do for the weekend (other than the obvious).

Who did you book that through?

I went to Rome with my boyfriend for my 21st. We went for 4 nights and I think it cost us around £300 each for flights and accomodation. Our hotel was 4 star and really lovely, but it wasn't right in the middle of everything, closer to the Vatican and about 10 mins walk to the Spanish steps.
It's definately nice to go away, although I was away for my 18th and 19th too, so I didn't make such a big deal about it being my birthday as I could have.

I'd recommend looking at www.expedia.co.uk for holiday deals. I've used them a couple of times and never had any problems.

Thanks for that, had a look through and some pretty decent deals.

Paris is lovely but if you want something a bit different how about Vienna? Can't say as I have been but it looks very nice. Prague is OK but is (depending on when you go) a big Stag/Hen night destination so can be a bit.... well not the most romantic. However, I am ready to be corrected by Prague natives if this is unusual, it's just what I have had from some people who have been recently. It was fine when I was there but that was a long long time ago!

Rome is very nice too, was there this summer. I could recommend a nice hotel which was very reasonable and right next to Piazza Venezia and the Forum.
