I was thinking the same thing as you were.

If that message comes up every time you boot up the computer I would
personally uninstall the graphics drivers from the system, restart, download the
new drivers from the AMD site and then re-install the a fresh.

Instead of just installing new drivers on top of the one's that are causing the problem in the 1st place.

dont understand the comment about the pic guys? you can clearly see it and read it.

anyway spanner into the works, i looked at my graphics card and its asus. the ati was swaped with the asus a few months back. would this be why the error keeps coming up. how do i get rid of this?

It should be far far easier to take a screenshot and upload it than take a photo, download to pc, upload to internet.

ATi is a GPU manufacturer, ASUS is a graphics card manuafacturer (amongst other things), an ASUS card can be ATi too, you need to confirm what the exact model of your card is, clear out the currently installed drivers and then install the latest ones available, unless somebody points out any issues with them that is.

Guys, think we might be getting ahead of ourselves; not everyone is a computer whizz. Terminology and jargon are our banes in this industry. Might be a normal light user with computer problems.

Jaxx: Download and install PC Wizard; you can find it here http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/pc-wizard.html - the download link is on the right hand corner of the screen. When it installs / starts up please tell us the graphics card you are using. Using the same picture method if it is convienient for you.

when u get that error message again click on the link that says what data does this error contain , then on your keyboard hit the ' print screen ' key next to scroll lock then go in paint and click paste then save it an upload usin tinypic.com or imageshack :)
