I'm currently renting SCDA. And to be fair this game infuriates me.

I tried the Tutorial and it game me FA clues in how to play the game. You play any other UBISOFT game like GRAW (and presume GRAW2) and they hold your hand through the tutorial telling you what to press, when and why.

SCDA. "You are in a white room there is a hostage. You must interigate her, you do not have the 5th right that means you can not kill anyone. There is a police man he is looking for the girl. If he is detected she will be killed"

"You are in a white room there is a police man and a guard. No, lets change that. There are two heavily armed terrorists. You must get to the hostage undetected"

Thats not a tutorial. its a bloody practice level or something. Why not just stick me out in the field FFS. I was completely unaware of things like dragging the guy straight under the water and stabing him in the chest. It took me ****ing ages to figure out how to incapacitate people. I was never warned that the faster I move the louder my footsteps, and these grunts can hear my foot steps.

So far I am only just over a fence and down a zipline, on the first level. I have managed to deal with 4 guards, and open a gate with no problems. I can usually get the 5th, however the sentry light and the 6th guard and the sentry light have got me a couple of times and the controls are winding me up. Sometimes something works perfectly other times not joy and I'm mashing the A button to grab the guard and nothing is happening.

The only thing this game is doing for me is making me mad:mad:.

So is this game worth playing through, or should I just send it back and get something more enjoyable.

Lol I guess I was wrong then, Miss k said you were getting mad at something and I replied "It cant be the game its only the training level" :D

A good tip would be to use the secondary fire on your pistol to disable lights (not shoot them, it uses an emp type thing[left trigger I think]) makes the game a whole lot easier. And if you put on full sprint towards an enemy of course they are going to hear you :p Its all about paitience and timing with this game but it is well worth the play through I had such a laugh playing it and its probably one of my favourite games on my 360. Anything your stuck on just invite me to private chat and I should be able to help since I've got 100% stealth on most levels :)

I also enjoyed the multi-player, but that was ruined by the morons who played online and can't take losing, so the host closed the room as he was about to lose and we didnt get any points  It got to a point where it happened every game so I just quit.

That was the problem, I would wait very patiently for the opportune moment, crouch and creep in very slowly, grab the baddie, haul him into a dark spot and knock him out. rinse, repeat, until I get caught (usually because Sam fishier is an ignorant lazy uncooperative **** sucker that seams to have an arm reach of about 4 inches and thinks he knows best when it comes to clobbering baddies.). I then die and start all over again. I'm trying desperately hard not to shoot my weapons, but if it carries on the way its going I'm going in Rambo style.

So I'm getting a little mad at having to redo this silly part, and if this is how the rest of the game is going to be, I don't think I can handle the rage. It's really a good thing I was not exposed to high levels of radiation in a botched nuclear experiment, otherwise you'd be hearing "KRONO SMASH, KRONO BASH" And Ubisoft would be removed from the map.

Edit: the thing is I really enjoyed the first one. I guess part of the problem is that i don't have as much time to dedicate to games these days and I cant be dealing with a game thats no "too hard" but is "too time consuming"

I may find I have the same attitude to MGS, and Tencho if I played either of them atm.

I would get rid of Ninety Nine Nights as well its an aweful game with a terrible story, gameplay and only has save points at the end of every level I think.

So if you think SC DA is frustrating this is just as bad since the levels are long and if you die you have to start again (which happens quite a bit in my experience from the demo and brief plays at a mates).

With double agent I think you can save anywhere? (been months since I played it so not sure) If you're unsure about a certain part just quickly save and try again if u mess up.

going going gone

SAVE Anywhere... Well that would negate all frustration... If I find you are lying however I will be pulling at internet connections and throwing on loads of downloads ;).

Enchanted arms is off the list too.

Right I'm convinced. SCDA has one more night in order to redeem itself (and some faceless grunts are going to get all kinds of punishment)

Hitman however is going back (not becuse its a bad game if bloody brilliant, however I can only play it on Miss Ks 360 (60hz issue) and she doesn't look like she will share for a while.

Speaking of Miss K's 360, she's out tonight, I could play Hitman I guess or even... dare I say it... GRAW2

I dont understand peoples problems with the game, I dont think its hard to control at all. Great game, which I played through quite a bit befor I got GOW and need to go back to complete soon.

With this newly discovered save function my complaints should be more or less negated. Sam's controls are a bit off from time to time. I was standing behind this guy looking at a monitor, I went to grapple him and Sam decided to look at a computer instead (3 bloody times) I swear, If I got caught then I may have spontaneously combusted.

I was getting frustrated because either I would make a silly mistake (I admit I am only 99.999% perfect so there is a slight margin for error) Or Sam just would not do what I wanted when I wanted. I then had to proceed to repeat the last 15 min of work I had just done.

In terms of not running in. I absolutely do not. I'm too much of a perfectionist I want to incapacitate (not kill) all my victims and I want 100% stealth. I don't like using projectiles. Which probably adds to the frustration.

I love all three especially SW.

To beat the game you have to play levels over and over til you can do the levels blindfolded. Then just for fun then chuck in a super story mode that means you have to do all 6 levels of a film in one hit, no save point. Which imo is utterly pointless.

If you have the ability to play the game once on rental, laugh and send it back then its funny. To beat the game takes some severe patience especially with all the bugs.

I'm not score whorin' so just beating the game and getting a few "Fun" achievements on top will be fine.
