Give UK 4 more bank holidays, says TUC

I'd rather 4 extra days holiday entitlement than 4 more bank holidays. Do people enjoy bank holidays?

Im old enough to remember that shops used to have half day closing on Wednesdays

I like that idea, although maybe not Wednesday as thats town busy day. Also would maybe be defeating on colleagues who have to spend a while travelling to their workplace to only work half day.
