Hey everyone, not posted in this section of the forum before. Decided to give 3D printing another go after a frustrating start to it a few years back.

I picked up a Bambu Labs X1C with AMS on Friday and been spoilt so far how easy I'm being re-introduced to this hobby.

I started out in 2016 with a CEL Robox, it was given to me as an unwanted gift from my gf's Dad. To say it put me off 3D printing was an understatement (even if it was free), but looking back I can see where I (or it) went wrong.

Fast forward to now and I work with a couple of guys that 3D print using Enders that have twisted my arm and it seems to go hand in hand with my other hobby.. sim racing.

Have printed the 'Benchy' as a quick start to get things rolling and today I printed a lamp, that came in the box with the printer.

Really pleased how the lamp came out. All been very easy and user friendly so far, need to get my head around the supplied software though.

I want to print a button box for the sim rig next, using a Stream Deck XL as a base. Also want to print some display stands for all my old computers I have on show (and retire the blutac!!)

You won't go wrong with the X1C had mine 2 years now and the only issue that I have had with the machine was a corrupt micro sd card stopping the printer from booting up.

The right choice was made there when you ordered it.

3d printing has gotten so much more approachable not needing loads of time and just being able to print stuff it's great...side note where did you get that lamp design?
