Hi there I've been giving out free training advice to people who ask for it in the gym for years but recently someone told me if I give advice and that person gets injured following my advice I can be sued....

It sounds ridiculous to me, I don't force anyone into anything and I don't charge anyone anything....but I thought I'd ask here and see what people thought?

So can I get sued for giving out free fitness advice?

I've been giving advice on nutrition and exercise for nearly a decade. Most people have got healthier, fitter and stronger as a result. Some have injured themselves but that was down to their own fault.

You're giving advice for free that people can take or leave. There are no repercussions.
