Just smashed my car so could someone tell me the value of;

1995 1.3 Escort 5dr it was at 90k miles and in good condition (no rust etc)

£650 - £800 on a very good day, don't have the guide but thats the general selling price for them on AT your age but with less miles, is it the encore?

That really seems on the high side for me, i am about to purchase a golf 1.6 on an M plate (1995) with 75k on it for £500, and thats a much more desirable car. A friend of mine paid £450 just yesterday for a 1995 fiesta with 60k on it, i cant see that escort being worth any more than £450-500 to be honest

Try it for more but i think you will be lucky to get any.

Its all about the condition and receipts and history at that age and of course how well you sell it so a guide price isnt that relevant anyway.
Anything over 10 years is ancient history as far as car dealers are concerned but parkers.co.uk might give you a quote linked to milage for a few quid. They even text this stuff to your phone, usefull at auction.
