glass scratch remover

Hi guys, the windows on my car all round are covered in scratchs. Any way off getting rid of them, really starting to annoy me!

its a mk5 fiesta (02 plate) if that makes a difference

SPeaking from experience...no, I ended up having the windscreen replaced on my BMW, which should be free if your fully comprehensive insurance?

I understand scratches on the windscreen - but how do you get them all over?

i'm guessing washing the car with a dirt sponge??

Cerium oxide and a felt polishing wheel. You'll likely distort the glass though.

I've got tiny little scratches on the glass on the MR2, going to give it a going over with the rotary and a very light polish to see what happens.

the scratches on my car aren't deep, just surface, but you can see them when the light catchs them etc.

You can get glass polisher (liquid) from Halfrauds, that'll take out very minor scratching if you work at it, or use and electric polisher and just let it spin.

Or there's glass repair kits from various manufacturers that might help - I've no experience of using them though.

i've got a medium kit from that glass polish shop, if it's dry i'm gonna have a pop at it on Sunday. i'll let you know results if i do
