I get where you’re coming from, but there are certain situations where varifocals don’t work for me hence the change. I believe wearing distance glasses can be a problem when driving in that instrumentation within the car can be blurry. Can't help but that feels like a step backwards. Getting varifocals a few years ago was the best thing I ever did.
Younger brother got varifocals last year after about 25 years of wearing glasses, from what he's said he prefers them for general use, but likes the single vision glasses for specific tasks (it seems he needs a different lens for painting models to his reading'/distance).I’ve been wearing varifocals for over 25 years but I’ve now decided to try single lenses. To those who also have 2 pairs of glasses, what do you find is the best case to use?
Returning to the question, I use aluminium hard shell cases and put a label on the bottom so I know what’s what. At one point I was juggling 6 pairs.
