Anyone wear glasses with their lid? Got my first pair of prescription glasses and they just feel awkward as hell when i have my helmet on, is there such thing as a prescription visor? :p

I wear them and you get used to it. I tried contacts but for the life of me cannot get the buggers out.

Try a helmet with a glasses arm channel.

I wear glasses with my lid. You'll get used to it with time.

Just make sure you put your helmet on first, then the glasses afterwards. :D

I found it quite awkward and had to take them off because with my visor down they kept steaming up. My helmet has a pinlock so that doesn't steam up but it was mighty awkward doing 40mph and then my glasses steamed up, got abit panicy.

And the reverse when taking them off :).

Yep, worked that out when i got home from the office, it just hurt my face :p

I found that they fogged up first time i put them on, but i haven't actually had it happen since then. I guess its one of those things imma have to get used to as contacts sound like a bad idea :D

You do get used to them, as will your helmet(i.e. it'll start shaping to the arms of your glasses :p). I've got no choice but to ride with glasses, and I have very little issue with them, never even steam up really.

have you tried contacts? I've been wearing them now for 4 years and haven't actually owned glasses yet but my prescription is very weak near sighted.

Most places will let you try a set out to see how you get on with them. Also if your very clean with putting them in and out you can make the 2 week acuvue oasis last a month per set meaning they are pretty cheap.
