I mean, I have asked if someone can run a glass's valuation and I'll trust the reg / details over - I don't see the problem myself.
Anyhow, if some one would actually like to help me, please give me a shout!
Thanks
I guess it's just that if the reg was posted they could do it in 10 seconds, post a single reply and be done with it.
But now they have to post to say they can help, wait for a trust message, then check, then post/ trust you the results?
Might mean you are less likely to get a response, that's all![]()
Well it's goto be the batmobile
depending on condition £2500 to £3700
I think we're all probably disappointed at this point![]()
I know you probably like to think of yourself as the class clown. I just wanted some answers to my OP and your two posts have been off-topic. Bet you went to the extent of inputting my reg also lol. Some people have nothing better to do I suppose.
God I'd hate to be as boring and miserable as you. At least watercooledman has a sense of humour.
Another bit of advice please. So my car has been written off and I read they go for Glass's valuation as a baseline which seems off by a couple grand if I look nationally on auto trader.
There is only one car which is similar to mine in spec and age which is £7000 private sale.
Am I going to get shafted or is there something I can do to get a better price?
You can sometimes use the dreamer prices on autotrader/etc to help bump up the offer after they make the first one.
I requested a higher value on my minivan years ago when they offered a book value, and I sent them adverts, expert evaluation and pre incident pictures and proof of the condition being exceptional.
Iirc, their value was about £200 initially, but went up to north of 2k afterwards.
Figures may be slightly out, but it was over 20 years ago now!
