I couldn't see lana del rey on iplayer. It's out just taking time to get uploaded or do some acts not get put up?
I don’t know but it does seem to be the usual thing that some artists do not get uploaded to listen back to at all, I was hoping to see the Hives. My wife wants to listen to Lana del Rey as well, what I caught last night was good before she was cut off. Maybe the other stage Saturday stream is still there but I have not found it yet. I would have bet my house that GNR would not be there hence watching that live.
Maneskin has been the best entertainment I have seen so far this weekend, I have not watched the Foo Fighters yet, it depends if Mr Grohl wants to sing or scream through the choruses as to how enjoyable it is.

Fatboy Slim just knows how to entertain and put a set together that gets people going. Doesn't rely on replaying hits, always mixes things up a bit different, never goes too far down a rabbit hole that you can only enjoy if you're off your ****, keeps it moving along. His Butlins festival last year was great and going again this year, great vibe!
Yeah, ended up thoroughly enjoying his set, even with Rita Ora pitching up for a song. Hard to believe he's just shy of 60.

In general, what are the Chemical Brothers like these days in concert? I've seen them in 1999, 2002 and 2007 and the production (lighting, visuals, lasers) have always been superb. Musically, they tended to do classics sets. I'm seeing them again this year.

The only year I tried to get a Glasto ticket was 2004, which was apparently the first year it become difficult to get a ticket as all stock sold in like 13 hours. On the phone = constantly on hold. Online = web site times out. Then the stock sold even quicker in subsequent years.

I don't think I could go to Glasto now though as too much politics. It's kinda like how Pride has become. One of my closest friends is gay and he said that Pride used to be about the music, drag and sub-cultures, but he feels that the T has taken over the LGB bit in LGBT.

@Pawnless Endgame I’m not sure whether it’s actually hugely politics heavy, or whether I just get that sort of vibe from BBC’s presentation, which seems obsessed with promoting the diversity of what’s going on in this sort of “isn’t it wonderful?” sort of way.

It is wonderful, but having it presented in that manner feels a little like being told how to have a good time by a stern parent.

Loads of people love going year after year though… *shrug*

She was doing her hair, though seriously how the **** are you late for a Glasto slot, that’s just really poor from her.
If Diana Ross and Dolly Parton can get sorted in time for their slots, and they clearly take a lot more time to get their outfits on etc.... It shows how little regard she has for her fans and for Glasto as a whole.

Some of those fans would have been waiting at that stage all day.

Artist invite list for Glasto 2024
Rick Astley - Headline on a main stage
Lana Del Ray
Prima Queen - Woodsie

I did a bit of reading up on her, seems she is always late to shows, festival or not. Clearly a bit of an attitude problem.

Just finished watching The Hu, they were pretty good, wish there was more metal at Glastonbury. Iron Maiden headline set when?
