Hi

I have GLFTPD running on my Debian server and working well but, I want to be able to change the home directory from the GLFTPD default to one of the /home directories but every time I do this the user is unable to connect to the FTP.

Does anyone have any idea how to change this?

I have Googled it to death but everything I try fails.

Thanks in advance.

are you restarting the ftp daemon after changing?, failing that would a simple symlink not work

Hi Melvis

I have been restarting the server after making the changes but each time I do the user connects but fails to open the directory.

I can use a Symlink but there were reports of issues with this although it was some time ago so I may give it a try later, suppose it will only take 20 seconds :)

Thanks for the reply.

np :) if that doesnt work double check the permissions for the ftpd especially if ur running selinux or using acl
