Glims

Just came across this plugin today on iusethis and it's much better than Inquisitor :p

This plugin replaced Inquisitor and SafariTabs for me as it does all the features the two plugins offers. Also, no more SIMBL plugins for me :p

Seems cool, never used inquisitor though?

One thing I did noticed reading the installation notes that if we purchase anything through their search results they gain a % from Amazon, should you buy from Amazon that is.

Will give it a try!

The Amazon affiliation in Glims is nothing like the affiliate links in Inquisitor's search results where they are shown predominantly as Inquisitor manipulates the search results with its own affiliate links. Inquisitor did have the option to turn affiliate links off however they could still be seen :p

Do any plugins make the address bar like firefox's where it searches for what you put in and no just try to go to the .com ?

Yeah but its easier to just use 1 box. Safari also needs to get updated so it can do what firefox does and search your history like FF does and not just the bog standard one it comes with

Used to use FF 24/7 but its buggy and slow so Safari will have to do, just missing some features I like :(

I haven't come across a plugin that replicates the behaviour of Firefox's address bar however there are plugins that allows you to do a keyword search in Safari's address bar like Keywurl.

However with Glims, you can choose from choice of search engines by clicking on the arrow in the Google search box without having to type the keyword. Might take slightly longer to click instead of typing the keyword :p
