A friend of mine when she records audio from her dj setup randomly and frequently gets glitching or skips in the sound recording when she records.
Originally she had a Celeron 2.6ghz, 512mb DDR 400 ram and an Audigy live sound card. The motherboard went pop and I replaced it with a new one. After a fresh reinstall of XP we tried recording and there's a lot of sound glitches happening now.
I have now put a P4 3.0ghz processor in and it still happens but not as frequently. I then stuck one of my Geil 1gb DDR 400 sticks in the memory slot and again it was still happening but better than it was. Could it be something else causing the problems ? not good enough hard drive ? audio cables too long ? on board sound card being useless ??
Anyone experience anything like this too ?
