Glorious GMMK Full-Size Keyboard and RGB profiles

I am thinking of replacing my Logitech G810 keyboard with the Glorious GMMK Full-Size. One thing I have not been able to find out about the GMMK is how the RGB profiles work.

I am not a great fan of RGB, and would probably be happy to do without. My current Logitech G810 does not have any onboard memory, so you have to load the RGB profile at Windows start up via the horrible Logitech G-Hub software. This has always been a bit of a pain - sometimes it doesn't load or it forgets existing profiles, so I have to set them up again.

How do the profiles work for the GMMK? Does it have on-board memory so I can load one, simple RGB profile and never change it, without having to mess around with software? I am thinking I could have a very muted RGB permanently loaded. Or is it more like the Logitech G810 - the RGB gets loaded on Windows startup via an app?

Thanks for you help.
