I know how many, many people feel about glossy screens, lets please ignore that for a minute.
I hoping to find a newish screen with a glossy panel and over 144hz and am having trouble just searching for it.
My old S23A750D is the last one I've run into and even with OLD tn screen, for some reason the motion(with strobing) and colors just look more attractive than matte screens.
I'll admit there are some very good matte screens out there that don't diffuse the monitors light quite so dramatically, but when you sit 3 feet from the thing, you still notice.
If anyone could point me in the direction of a half decent monitor with high refresh and a glossy screen, you'd be my hero.

Fact Glass/Gloss screens make everything pop out and they look far better and makes things enhances perceived blacks/contrast but many cannot get on with the glare (I can live with it esp as mostly game/watch TV in dark).

It also makes me think that a big part of the reason why OLED look much better then PC LCD monitors because OLED screens are glossy which gives that extra pop & shine to the colours and more depth to the picture

Same as your phone (big thread right now on Reddit on topic) no doubt if OLED/AMOLED but will no doubt be glossy no matter what panel type.

Glossy screens can suck my ****ing nuts tbh! It's doing my head in a bit with this OLED, I really don't like it. The Sammy G7 has a v v slight glossy screen and seemed to have just as much vibrancy with the colours as my oled imo. Damn good screens!

Coming from CRT/Plasma I have not seen any LCD look near same, at least now its semi gloss not that grain/Vaseline **** they used to have a few years ago.

@Jedi, You really should close your blinds/curtains when you Fap to pr0n (problem solved) :p

I use AG Neovo's with NeoV optical, I'm currently typing this message in front of 3 of them on a triple lift stand. I honestly think there some of the best monitors I've ever used (I'm a software dev). If you could imagine the picture colour and contrast of a Sony CRT Trinitron combined with the precision of digital.

In regard to glare, I only notice reflection when the screens are off (black), however it's minimal as the NeoV glass has an anti glare layer.

Not exactly high-refresh, appreciate the suggestion though. Will keep eye out for this style of finish.

That's the issue with AG Neovo, the specs on paper are poor, however in reality i'm still very happy with mine, use for software development, have gamed on them, and also some photo work.

For colours, these pictures were calibrated on Ag Neovo Glass screens.

Just to clarify I'm not telling people to buy AG Neovo's, however I am defending their glass screens.
