Glossy Monitor

Hello

Does anyone have any suggestions for a monitor 20-24" with VESA mounting that has a similiarly glossy effect of an Apple iMac screen?

There's the Dell ST2220T in the 21.5" size which has a glossy coating and also has touch screen functionality. Also the recently released Hazro HZ27WA/C which is 27" in size but a very low retail cost and very similar to the Apple 27" cinema display. Other than that, there arent many full glossy screens other than the Apple range

The dell doesnt seem to have VESA mounting and 27" on the Hazro is likely too big for my dual monitor arm, it also doesnt seem to be released yet?

Are there any other alternatives?

Reading around the reviews for that just dont seem to be that great.

This is harder than i thought it would be.

it will be hard to get a similar screen to an imac

All i really thought was that i was asking for a high quality glossy screen.

Is there something else in the imac screen which sets it apart?

It has an extra layer of glass over the lcd panel (where other glossy panels just have some kind of glossy coating).

I've been on the hunt for the same thing as you - nothing really compares to the cinema display!
