Glossy or Matte ?

Hey guys.
I'm buying a 24" monitor and I can't make up my mind between glossy or matte...
The monitors in question are the HP w2408h / Samsung 2433bw..
I know that the glossy reflects, but it also shows better colors right? In my room I don't get much light in front of the monitor most time so I think this wouldn't bother too much, what do you think?

Doesn't matter, unless it's really cheap shiny gloss

I am in a really bright room and I have got the Samsung SM2493HM (matt screen) and I have had the HP HP w2448hc (new version of 2408, just came out) and it does not really matter. The HP look's better and has better build quality and the PQ will be better.
