does the glossy screen on the nec or the x-black technology make the colours that much better? or is the reflectiveness too bad?

I would like the answer to this aswell is it much better or is the reflectiveness even worse then a CRT?

It isn't really better or wose, just different' I don't like it because it is so reflective, but the colours look more real and less washed out.

Your best bet is to go into a PC store and have a look.

yes. it makes a huge difference. the colours look great. as for the reflections its impossible to use if you've got the sun behind you, much like a CRT. But if you dont have an east or west facing window you'll be fine. Mine is North facing and i never have any reflection issues, even at night when i have a bedside light on beside me.

yes. but it makes the colours look so bright its worth it. As above, unless you've got the sun directly directly on the monitor, you wont notice any reflection.

It's reflective like any shiny gloss screen, i say its worst judging by my friend's Sony Laptop.

I do have sun behind me but I always play with a thin blind down as I use a crt at the moment will this still be ok?
