Basically I sometimes get a sweaty hand when using my mouse a lot. Sounds stupid but yeah, it's irritating I have to wash my hands every 10 mins sometimes <_<

So I was thinking, is there some kind of gloves I can buy that will help, but wont hinder my ability to use the mouse?

Or maybe I just need a new mouse, the grippy texture on the G5 is probably whats causing it..

Why dont you just wipe your hands on your pants like a human instad of having to wash them?

Playing in gloves, unless they are latex will make you play like poo

I dont know, just wiping sweaty hands on myself doesnt sound very nice :S

and I slip from the buttons a lot so I just go clean my hands after each game or something.

Is this you...

Unfortunately wearing gloves will probably make your hand sweat even more, then you'd just have a damp and smelly glove. Imagine going off to eat some dinner for example then coming back and having to put on a cold and clammy glove :p

How do you hold your mouse? Personally, the only part of my hand touching the mouse are the very tips of the thumb and fingers. The ball of the hand rests on the desk and as a result I never suffer from sweaty palms...

Thats kind of how I hold it when browsing, but I play a lot of UT2004 so need a good grip of it for quick slides for 180 turns etc.

My friend used to suffer from this - like you he played FPS and needed a firm grip. Because it was only his palm that caused issues, he wrapped his hand something like this (not quite as extensive, he had a really flexible sleeve made of similar material to bandages that he slid his hand into before gaming)

i'm personally thinking about asking to doc for botox injections for sweaty hands.
i use somethign that iam allergic to on softer skin to combat sweatiness but on my palms it doesnt seem to be effected.
it can be so bad out poitns that i dont want to even make contact with poeple such as giving a breif hi-5 or if ive been holding something for a while let them hold it incase its soaked in sweat.
it really effects my self confidence.

oops, didn't read it. Saw one that looked the same but didn't hinder movement...but it was on an american site so checked for a uk one quickly
