I've got a real urge for some pasties, pies and other food at the moment but its been a while since I bought any online. As the food can be so hit and miss (and rather pricey) I'd rather get some recommendations for specific foods than just buying a load.

So I'm looking specifically for suggestions for nice "Cornish" Pasties, meat pies and maybe sausage rolls and Pan au Chocolat.

I'm sure I will think of some others as well.

In return some suggestions for other things I've found recently...

Warburtens GF bread. It is even better than the Genius bread and definitely worth a try. It's almost sandwich material (rather than toasted). I got mine from Waitrose but I don't know if anywhere else sells it. Waitrose also do Salute Spaghetti which used to be available in Tesco and Sainsburies, it's by faar the best tasting.

Asda do, they've got quiete a sizeable GF/WF section in my local Asda, I'm not totally sold on Warburtons GF free bread ( wheat intolerant here ), i find i slap twice as much marge on it than i need to, as no matter how fresh it is, it allways feels like it's sucking the moisture out of my mouth when i'm scoffing a sarnie.

The Warburton's bread is awful compared to the latest Glutafin Fresh Loaves (the fresh word is a key importance). As gluten free bread that you can actually buy goes though it is ok.

Unfortunately my ass hat of a doctor has decided I am no longer alowed it on my prescription so I am stuck (I should point out he also CHANGED the dose of my heart tablets (and dropped one entirely) despite both being set by my heart consultant) /Rant.

I have tried the "meat" pies from both Asda and Sainsburys and quite frankly they are awful. The "meat" is basically what you would find in a value steak and kidney pie but you pay around £3 for the privilege. I haven't tried the Sausage rolls though, at over £2 for two I won't be either.

unfortunately that's the case with most GF bread.

Anyone bought any pies and such from websites?
