Anybody know what this means on the end of the peugeot 306?

its just the spec... have a look on parkers through the model history to determine what toys it comes with.

It's a trim level.

Typically I think GLX stood for "Grand Luxury eXecutive" or something similar

According to a mate, GLXs are LXs with slightly better interior trim.

Usually:

LX is Lux or Luxury
GLX is Grand Luxury, meaning same as Luxury for more grands

On my Polo GLX parkers said that the GLX is equipped with sports seats rather than the LX standard seats.

well on the 206 GLX adds:

front fogs
aircon
cd changer
auto wipers

over the LX

i think anyway, dont quote me on it though

EDIT: Although sometimes you can find that an LX can have optional extras making it almost the next model up. I mean my 306 LX is basically a GLX as the only thing it is missing is the oil pressure gauge
