Gmail/email business setup help please.

Setting up new business.

I have the domain and I've got both users setup with Google Workspace Business Standard.

Email addresses are

[email protected]
[email protected]

website is www.companyname.co.uk

These are fine and being used with no issues.

What I'm trying to setup up is another email address to cover the company for external users who don't want to contact directly X or Y.

So looking for

"[email protected]" email address to be setup so that when anyone external uses that email address, the email lands in both X & Y's email.

I tried doing it via an alias but multiple users can’t share an email alias.

I guess (from my limited knowledge) some kind of "group" needs to be setup but this seems like far to over the top for two users and an "info" address.

Anyone help appreciated.

Can’t you just set it up as another user and use delegated access or forwarding?

That's what I thought - costs a few quid a month but might just do that.

Just setup a group with an alias, much easier to add/subtract users from the group in future. You can distribute the forwarded emails to the group.

You can use groups, create one that uses info@ and add both X/Y as members, subscribed for every email

However X won't know if Y has replied to the message, unless they use Reply All each time.
