Gmail not playing videos

I cant play videos in gmail directly anymore, I have to download them.
I used to be able to play them, I've tried different browsers, computers and all the same thing.

Anyone know why?

If you click the cog in the right corner of Gmail and choose classic Gmail, does it work?

That works on the pc but not the laptop.
I've tried Firefox, chrome, opera and explorer all the same so I guess it's a Windows setting?
