GMail Signature

Does anyone know if there's a way to get my gmail signature to appear after the text I'm typing in an email (imagine multiple responses) instead of at the end of the email? Short of cutting and pasting it each time

There's an option in Labs to get signatures working.

You misunderstand, I have my signature working but it appears at the very end of the message (if there's multiple responses then it ends up with about 16 signatures at the bottom if that makes sense), I wondered if it was possible to get it to appear at the end of what I've typed in each response instead.
