Gmail sync issues Android?

Is there a problem with gmail at the moment? Randomly my phone DesireHD has stopped showing new emails. The accounts are all set up to automatically sync but i can only get new emails by going on the Gmail App and clicking refresh.

Very random

EDITl I changed to the new gmail skin on the desktop that wouldnt of knackerd it up would it?

No issues here either. You have probably tried this already but see if a reboot gives any luck.

I had this issue last week - It seemed that the phone was running low on memory, deleting a few things and giving the phone a clean up sorted the issue and the syncing then kicked into life.

Make sure you have a positive internet connection

WiFi/MiFi/3G/HSDPA etc etc,

Have you considered using another email application? like k9mail?

Personally i dislike it as it does not have the synced deletion system or whatever you want to call it, as the standard Gmail app has, meaning emails deleted on k9mail, will still be on your gmail inbox.

If you are using gmail then switch back to googlemail in options & hard boot your phone.

This happened to me; try clearing data/cache

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > GMail

Same issue here yesterday. I had just updated to the latest LeeDroid Rom so put it down to that. Switched back to VivoSense and now ok.
