GMail Tools anyone?

Hello. I'm creating a fancy e-mail. I don't know how to do this but in GMail does anyone know how to put in a pink background? And have those fancy features that you get in those annoying chain letters?
Not that i'm creating a chain letter, it's just a different e-mail I need to send someone.

It's a looooooong deley if I was to explain it, but seeing as you guys think I am a 42 year old fat guy with man boobs pretending to be a sweet 19 yr old chick with DD clevage lemme explain:
My mate saw an advert on the college flyer, and it was clearly pink. Yet he states it was a "strong purple" There is a clear distinction between strong purple and pink. So he's gone and sent me an e-mail with a similar colour of the flyer, and he still says its a strong purple.
I want to set him wrong tbh and send him a similar e-mail but with pink if that makes sense?
