Gmail with the Outlook 2007 - problems

Hi Guys,
Is anyone using Outlook 2007 with gmail?

I followed the instructions on the google help pages for setting up with outlook xp and previous versions but it isnt working?

I cant see there being much differnet betweeen the versions of outlook that would stop gmail from working

it works fine with 2007. well it did when i tried the beta. i don't have the full version. check these settings....

pop3, ssl enabled, port 995
smtp, ssl enabled, port 465

that's about it really, all the rest is standard.

I have the trial version of 2007 and everything works fine. I would try setting up the account again, just incase you missed something. One thing that doesn't work is gmail wont transfer the spam, but as far as I am concerned that's a good thing.

I had my smtp server pointed towards my broadband provider, i changed it to gmail and it worked a treat
