So after tearing my hair out after hearing "Crazy" for the 4275367th time yesterday, I decided to grab his album St.Elsewhere and see what else he has to offer.

Quite simply, wow. I wasn't expecting a collection of such great songs. Fresh, upbeat and downright funky. "Who Cares" and "Smiley Faces" being my favourites so far.

Hee hee... ;)

I thought Gnarls Barkley was a group? Not one man?

Have heard good and bad things about the album but not heard it yet myself.

I've heard Crazy so much that it's physically made my ears bleed. Having said that, they did a good (slower) version of it on Jules Holland a couple of weeks back and that was a lot better.

I might have to give the album a go.

one of the worst albums i've ever heard and each song is around 2 minutes.

Not sure what you mean there, on average they are 3-4 mins.

I Try, for example is 3:45s which is quite normal for a song length you know.

Crap song, utter rubbish and im sure the album would be the same as well. Everytime i hear that tune i really really want to throw the radio out the window..

Gnarls Barcley. He's been at number one for 9 weeks. He's played on pretty much every radio station in the UK, and he was also at Radio 1's big weekend.

Do you normally listen to any kind of hip-hop-esque stuff out of interest?

Yes I do, but this album is different with kind of experimental production which makes the songs sound distinct from anything else but to me it just sounds like a low budget album. Apart from the song Crazy I wouldn't want to listen to the other songs more than once.
