Seriously.
I have tried this stuff out today and just WOW!!!
I only used my wipers twice in a 30 mile journey, Cost about £3.50 from costco for a big bottle with foaming glass cleaner.

Just put it on and wiped it off, it makes the water literally slide off your screen!!

BUY IT!!!

Only problem with it on windscreens is in light rain it causes a mist all over the screen for about a second after the wipers pass. I use it on my side windows, mirrors and rear screen but I don't like it on the windscreen.

It can get really nasty on front windscreen especially in summer, after a week or so it starts smudging badly and it's almost uncurable for long months. Great on mirrors and back through.

Agreed. Was just about to post something similar.

I use it on my side windows, rear window, wing mirrors and its also excellent when used on headlight lenses.

I tried it years ago on the front windscreen and found what blueboy described to be a problem.

Hmm, ok,
I assume you can just get rid by using a bit of glass polish or similar if needed lol
or clay it I guess.

After that windscreen wiper thread I bought some PIAA silicone wipers and they are fantastic. RainX is good but I know what I prefer.

Yep, but if I recall correctly, it took lots of effort to remove with glass cleaner.

@VR46....yep, same 'ere. Works great on skid lid visors. :)

It works really well for a week or so, but then it looks awful and smudgy so you have to reapply it. I think it's the wiping from the blades that ruins it, so I guess side windows and mirrors would work well. Only tried it on the front for a few weeks.

Also as mentioned, it's great in heavy rain, but it's awful when it's just spitting as the drops stay really small and bead-up and don't sheet off. It also leaves a smeer that lasts less than a second when the wiper goes over it and, IMHO it's worse than without... well, it cheesed me off anyway.

Is it OK to use on bike visors? Would be worthwhile.

Yep I have been using these for over a year or so and they are worth their weight in gold :).

yeah i thought this stuff was good at 1st but wouldnt recomend it now

the anti fog for the inside... is awsome tho :D

No thanks, it trashed my OEM Valeo Audi wipers. Got some PIAA Silicons which were ok but now got Audi Aero wipers which are better than everything.

I had to use this when my windscreen wiper relay failed and its not perfect. Works great for a few days and then needs reapplying. I think city traffic fumes break it down, it'd be great apart from that but it just gets dirty and needs a wash/reapply.

Too much effort to recommend apart from track days maybe, windscreen wipers dont always work great at 100mph

I use it on my motorcycle helmet visor - works a treat.

Yeah, I remember this stuff (or similar?) from over a decade ago :o
Works great on your visor - the faster you go the faster the rain disappears. Officer :p
I'd never felt the need to use it on a car windscreen.
