Go easy with easy BMW noob alert

Dude, seriously, you've asked this question on this forum about 4 times now. Every time it has been answered in complete detail by either Wicksta, NickXX or myself.

I can't speak for the others but I can't be bothered to type it all up for you AGAIN. Why didnt you take note the first 3 times

I appreciate that but the search function is disabled and I now have the spare funds.

Please go easy with me foxy :o

Oh go on then.

The screen on its own is just that - a screen. It can't do anything by itself. So..

You will need a BM54 Radio Module - this allows the system to receive radio, and also play CD's.

You will need a Navigation Computer - even if you dont want to use Satnav - as this is what actually powers the screen, the interface to run it, etc etc. Best one to get is a Mk4 Nav Computer becuase its DVD based, and quicker.

You will need the GPS aeriel if you wish to use Navigation.

You will need the Wiring Loom for the Navigation system - these are about £130 from your dealer and will run from the head unit right through to the back of the car.

You will also need a bit of trim for the front of the car to relocate the controls for your Climate Control to where the little oddments tray is currently located.

Total cost for everything is between £1k and £1.5k.
