Go for a I3 3220 or a I5?

Hi guys

I'm going for a HD 7850, 8Gb RAM and was going for a I3 3220 but not sure.
I'll be using it for gaming.
So, would it be worth waiting a bit longer and going for a core I5? If so, which and why?

EDIT: Also, I'm currently going for a COrsair 550W. Would upgrading processor need a more powerful PSU?

The 7850 will be bottlenecked by the i3.

So I would go for the i5, as its not cool when your new graphics card is not being fully utilized and you aren't getting what you paid for.

3570k or 2500k.

3570K would be ideal, but as above, a 2500K can sometimes be good value.
