Im possibly going to be buying a monitor, dnt really have a clue about good/bad ones but i hear samsung are good.If somebody could spec me a good priced 20 inch or 22 inch id be delighted

nice system :) cheap aswell, would get the 4870 1G or the 260 maxcore though if you can stretch another £30.
22" screens can be had for £120 wont be the best, email me in trust will tell you where i got mine, its ok for gaming and if your not to fussed about uber quality :)

edit: the one rick posted is better than mine worth the extra £30 :)

It's a great bundle for the money - i bought very similar components a few months ago. It's the best value upgrade I’ve ever done - especially if you clock the cpu a few extra 100MHz – which is easily attainable even on stock cooling.

the 4850 is better card than the 4870 i read it on here somewhere thats cheaper i think as well i got one and it plays cryisis very well if thats your thing, get that monitor cant go wrong with that price and has hdmi for the hd4850

are u sure?correct me if im wrong but considering ATI are charging more for the 4870,is it not meant to be a slight upgrade compared to the 4850. Like the 4890 is slightly more powerfull than the 4870

Your right the 4870 is better than the 4850, as would make sense :)

Thats what i thought. It would make no sense if the 4850 was better. I do need a keyboard but im prob just gona go for a cheap gaming one. so would i be better off going for the 4850,getting a cooler...rather than the 4870 and using the stock

ok this what i think i read of top of my head somewhere yes 4870 is better but not much as regarding money wise,4850 will play most games for cheaper price i know thats why i brought it instead of the 4870 this was 10months ago,now im getting rid of it coz im getting the gtx 285
but if your budget is tight that 4850 will do ya also what you planning on doing with the pc

then oc the cpu a tad install a hd4850 and get the asus monitor i posted and bingo yur gaming then when u saved a bit get a better card like i did

I would try and find the extra £13 and get the cooler as well as the 4870 as the card is great value at £103 and the third party cooler may buy you a few extra 100MHz so would pay for itself, in theory.
