go q6600 query

let me guess you just got a Q6600 Go and when you looked at you thought it was a standard Q6600 as it has nothing on the box to say its a Go version.......i to had the same thing when i got on of these at the beginning of the week :-) and i to can confirm that the SLACR at the end of the model number is for the GO version.

i could kezmo but didnt want to take it out of package in case it wasnt a go and then have trouble sending it back,and to tonyzero yes m8 your right thought i had been done,but will have to use the original heatsink till i can get a decent one,as going away monday and dying to fit it,p.s thanks to all for the advice

Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK)
be ok for my setup now im putting a quad in cheers
 
cheers chris just put it in on the standard cooler and everything looks fine

dont want to clock it yet just want it to settle in first,but they are ok temps arnt they

Yeah they have that on the box :) They do tend to OC a bit more, but are also good for "mild" overclocks but run cool as well :cool:
